Re-energizing Serrated Knives
Diamond Machining Technology, Inc.’s Serrated Knife Sharpener sharpens serrations of all sizes without altering their original grind. Serrations can be a challenge to sharpen because of the many penetration points and curves that must be kept symmetric and like all other cutting tools, they do get dull. Serrated knives are extremely efficient when sharp. Regular sharpening to maintain their high-performance cutting power is a must.
Diamond Machining Technology, Inc., has designed the Serrated Knife Sharpener to quickly restore edges of serrated knives and other cutting tools. The sharpener is a 4-inch cone that tapers in diameter from 1/16 of an inch to 1/4 of an inch, the most common serration sizes found. Plated with monocrystalline diamond, the Serrated Knife Sharpener offers a lifetime of the fastest, easiest sharpening of even the toughest stainless steel blades.
Available in the fine and coarse grits, the Serrated Knife Sharpener is part of the DMT’s line of Diafold Sharpeners, which are housed in a plastic case that unfolds into a convenient handle. Just a few short strokes in each serration will put a better than new edge on even the most abused knives. The sharpener can also be used as a mini-steel to hone a razor sharp edge on straight edge blades and filet knives.
Diamond Machining Technology, Inc. manufactures a full line of diamond sharpening tools for sporting, home, and workshop applications, including the innovative Diafold family of sharpeners, the convenient Diamond Mini-Sharp and the double-sided DuoSharp.
