An archive site brimming with past issues of its online newsletter
AllRecipes.com-The Recipe Network, the most popular online community cookbook, has launched RecipeNotes.com, (http://RecipeNotes.com) the online companion for the company's free bimonthly email newsletter, the company announced today.
Like all of our sites, we created RecipeNotes.com per the request of our users, said Dan Shepherd, director of sales and marketing for AllRecipes.com. Consumers were requesting back issues of RecipeNotes™ so we designed a reference site for those who have missed or deleted an issue or for those who simply want to browse the archives.
In an effort to stay in touch with its online community of cooks, AllRecipes.com unveiled RecipeNotes in December, 1998. According to Shepherd, RecipeNotes was fashioned as a thematic, fun way to keep in touch with its online community of cooks, showcase recipes from large databases, and highlight the thousands of AllRecipes.com users. The newsletter has more than 83,000 subscribers to date.
The features include:
* Welcome! An introductory message announcing the latest newsletter's theme
Some of the previous theme topics have included:
* Berries and veggies for summer days
* Tea parties and brunch ideas for spring events
* Soups and sweets for winter months
* Pssst…Cooking hints and tips
* Seasonal Highlights and Fresh from the Oven Featured new recipes of the season
* CulinaryStore.com Latest products from AllRecipes.com's online kitchenware store
* News on upcoming sites A sneak preview of the next AllRecipes.com site to be launched
